When looking for something in his closet, my husband stumbled across as file that his Aunt had given him at a family reunion 5 years ago. Enclosed were pictures and letters that all belonged to his grandpa and were from WWII! It was so neat to see these things preserved and handed down specifically to him, as his grandpa wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
