Creative Guest Book Ideas For Your Wedding Reception by Kelli Conley

Now-a-days brides look for every opportunity to be different and have their wedding styled their way! When I was getting married, I remember looking through magazines and online trying to find at better guest book idea. Almost everyone I talked too said how silly it was to have a traditional guest book as it will sit in a box and you will never look at it again.
Here are 20 ideas of great alternatives to the traditional guest book... http://tiny.cc/uaucy
This past weekend I photographed a beautiful wedding in Charleston, SC. The wedding couple chose the engagement book idea and I thought it was so neat to be able to display the engagement pictures and turn it into a keepsake to last forever! I attached a picture below...

My husband and I decided to do a photo mat frame for our wedding. This way the guests could write on the mat and then it would become a decoration in our house. It turned out beautifully and hangs in the stairway even now, three years later! Both my husband and I love to stop every once in a while to read something funny, silly, or sweet one of our friends wrote, which allows us to smile and remember that day!  So when choosing an idea for your guest book, make sure you make it a good one! =)

P.S. I also did a wishing tree, as seen in the link I posted. It was something fun for the guests to do during the reception, and we read them in the plane on the way to our honeymoon. We also intend to read them again on our 5 year anniversary!

What a beautiful weekend for a wedding! I just can't get over the weather! For those of you not on Facebook, I posted this preview of the wedding I shot this weekend because I just could not wait until the blog reveal in a couple weeks when I get done with editing! I just loved her boots and everything about this shot so I had to share! Hope you enjoy and that you had a wonderful Easter!

Shoot Out! - Pine Island Country Club - Charlotte, NC by Kelli Conley

This week I had the pleasure to shoot with a bunch of lovely girls in a group we call Photog Divas! We were pleased to work with the lovely couple Bryn & Brian who will have been married a year this coming May! They were absolutely adorable, and all of us had such a great time getting to know them and photographing our individual versions of their love. A special thanks goes out to all the vendors who supplied the decorations, venue, flowers, etc. (All of which are noted below).
I hope you enjoy the images as much as we all did while capturing them!

Day 268: Sergio & Jess - Charlotte Mint Museum Wedding Preview by Kelli Conley

D268: I absolutely adore these two! They were one of the most in love couples I have met, and everything about their wedding showed that. Even her sister joked that the theme of the wedding decorations were love birds because they are so in love (well and also smooching all the time)! But it definitely reflects in both Jess and Sergio's personality and that shined through during their wedding. Jess had a beautiful taste in everything she did for the wedding, with yellow and gray as her color scheme, a shabby chic feel throughout, and not to mention her now husband, Sergio! This pair had such an awesome group of friends and family that surrounded them and made the evening a great one.
I also want to give a shout out to J Pruett Photography and say thanks for having me shoot a great wedding with you!
