Fort Mill South Carolina Maternity Session | Lisa & Alex by Kelli Conley

Part of having your first child is the beautiful glow you have about you during your pregnancy. I absolutely love photographing maternity! It is so awesome to see the progress, the love the couples have for each other, and for something that they have created together that will be entering the world in a few short months. Time flies and the memories of what it was like to be pregnant fade after the baby is born. That is why capturing this time in a families life is so important and I have such a fun time getting to know how awesome they will be as parents.2013-11-19_0005.jpg 2013-11-19_0006.jpg 2013-11-19_0007.jpg 2013-11-19_0009.jpg 2013-11-19_0008.jpg 2013-11-19_0010.jpg 2013-11-19_0011.jpg

Winthrop University Wedding Photographer | Rock Hill, SC | Field Trial Barn | Aurora & Mark | yah Photography by Kelli Conley

The end of September was so beautiful this year! Nice warm days, a slight breeze into the afternoons, and gorgeous sunsets! Each of these things was exactly how Aurora & Mark's wedding day turned out to be! As a photographer I could not have been happier! The two of them were so excited to get married, and so in love! I could feel their love and emotion while looking through my lens and was thrilled to be capturing their day. Part of what made the day even more special was being able to include Mark's daughter Mia in some of the bride and groom portraits at sunset! She was loving every minute of it and I know Mark and Aurora will hold those couples minutes, while I stole them away from their reception, near and dear to their hearts.2013-11-04_0001.jpg 2013-11-04_0002.jpg 2013-11-04_0003.jpg 2013-11-04_0004.jpg 2013-11-04_0005.jpg 2013-11-04_0006.jpg 2013-11-04_0007.jpg 2013-11-04_0008.jpg 2013-11-04_0009.jpg 2013-11-04_0010.jpg 2013-11-04_0011.jpg 2013-11-04_0012.jpg 2013-11-04_0013.jpg 2013-11-04_0014.jpg 2013-11-04_0015.jpg 2013-11-04_0016.jpg 2013-11-04_0017.jpg 2013-11-04_0019.jpg 2013-11-04_0020.jpg 2013-11-04_0021.jpg

The Charlotte City Club Wedding Photography | Charlotte, NC | Tamara & David | Yah Photography by Kelli Conley

There is just something so magical about the wedding day! It is a day that the bride and groom have been waiting all year (sometimes more or less) for. Everything comes together so beautifully, everyone has fun, some people laugh, some people cry; and I just absolutely love to capture all of that on camera! That is exactly how David & Tamara's Wedding was, and I absolutely loved it! Leading up to the wedding Tamara and I met up a couple times, did her bridals, went over the wedding and all the while her father was very sick and had to take multiple trips to the hospital. Closer to the wedding as the two of us were finalizing the day she told me Kelli I do not think he is going to make it to the wedding. Staying strong she said my Uncle will be walking me down the aisle but we are going to try and have my dad there one way or another. When I arrived to The City Club on wedding day I was taken by surprised when I walked in to start taking pictures of the ceremony and saw an iPad on the sand ceremony table. Not really understanding I figured it might be something for the pastor to read off of (our pastor at church uses one on Sundays), and did not think anything more. Later on as the ceremony began, I realized that the iPad was propped up and that FaceTime was going! They were face timing with her father from his hospital bed so that he could be a part of the ceremony! It was such a sweet thing to do and I could not believe it. (See the pictures below) I know that although her father is still not in the best health that she will have a great and beautiful love story to share about not only marrying David, but also how her dad was able to be a part of their big day!2013-10-22_0018.jpg 2013-10-22_0011.jpg 2013-10-22_0012.jpg 2013-10-22_0006.jpg 2013-10-22_0004.jpg 2013-10-22_0005.jpg 2013-10-22_0010.jpg 2013-10-22_0001.jpg 2013-10-22_0002.jpg 2013-10-22_0003.jpg 2013-10-22_0007.jpg 2013-10-22_0008.jpg 2013-10-22_0009.jpg 2013-10-22_0013.jpg 2013-10-22_0015.jpg 2013-10-22_0016.jpg 2013-10-22_0017.jpg 2013-10-22_0014.jpg

ASC Greenway Senior Portraits | Hanna | Fort Mill, SC | yah Photography by Kelli Conley

I absolutely love it when I hear from my seniors that they picked me out of everyone else for well... me! When I get to the session it means we will instantly connect, and that is totally how it was with Hanna! She is the sweetest, person and loves to laugh and smile. One of the things that I love about her is that she plays lacrosse, which is totally awesome! I know Hanna will have an amazing senior year and I can't wait to hear what college she decides on, I know that no matter what she decides she will do great in it!2013-09-04_0012.jpg 2013-09-04_0013.jpg 2013-09-04_0014.jpg 2013-09-04_0015.jpg 2013-09-04_0016.jpg 2013-09-04_0017.jpg

Ivy Place Engagement Session | Sara & Michael | Indian Land, SC Photographer | yah Photography by Kelli Conley

There is nothing better than an old friendship being rekindled after a couple years and then leading to a lifetime of happiness with your best friend. This is exactly what happened with Sara & Michael! When they got together last year, Sara knew he was the one, and could not wait for Michael to propose. I love hearing these kinds of love stories from my brides because I can relate with them because my own love story was very similar. When Sara and I were planning her engagement session I knew the two of them would be so much fun to photograph. When it came down to that day I was so excited because not only did the weather co-operate but we had the most gorgeous sunset to play around with! I know Sara & Michael’s wedding at The Ivy Place next year will be beautiful, and I cannot wait to see Sara’s ideas for her big day come together!2013-10-04_0001.jpg 2013-10-04_0002.jpg 2013-10-04_0003.jpg 2013-10-04_0004.jpg 2013-10-04_0006.jpg 2013-10-04_0007.jpg
