Being the animal lover that I am I was so excited when I found out Meagen and Bryan met through their mutual love for horses. Meagen had just started training her horse and hired Bryan to help her and the rest is history from there. I was also excited to find out they wanted to incorporate both their horses into their engagement session. The two of them are so cute together, both their dog and their horses were well behaved during the session and I can’t wait to share in their special day at The Dairy Barn in June!

Meghan and Mike have such a timeless style. Everything about their wedding just made it so. From Meghan’s gorgeous dress, to Mike’s white suit, everything fit them and their personalities completely. I love that the two of them trusted me to photograph their day and to work with me in a way that made the whole day seamless. The rain held off for us all day even with a high percentage chance, and we were even able to sneak outside for a quick shot before the night was over!
This wedding could not have been possible without all these fabulous vendors:
Venue: Palisades Country Club
DJ: Split Second Sound
Florist: Ribald Farms
Cake: Sweet Scene Cakes
Ceremony Venue: St Philip Neri Catholic Church
Dress: J Majors Bridal
Rings: Diamonds Direct
Makeup: Who’s the Fairest

Daniel and Cierra are seriously made for each other. When I first met the two of them I could tell. After spending time with them during their engagement session I saw it again, and then during their wedding I knew it for sure. What especially hit me was all that their friends and family had to say about them during the wedding and during the toasts especially. I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful Hilton Head wedding. (Which for a little bit I was scared we wouldn’t make it too because of the traffic! Luckily the groom was in the car in front of me so I knew we were both stuck in the traffic together. And due to planning some extra time in there from the getting ready area to the ceremony site we still arrived with 10 minutes to spare even though it took us 45 minutes to get there!) And what topped off the whole wedding was that my husband Robbie was able to photograph the wedding with me. We had so much fun being silly with the bridal party, hopping on a golf cart to get around the plantation, and then playing with sparklers and twinkle lights before they headed off to their honeymoon in London! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!

Sunflower Engagement Photographer | Sarah & Todd | yah Photography /
I cannot believe my bestest, best friend in the whole wide world is getting married!! It seems like just yesterday we were meeting for the first time in the 8th grade and have been inseparable ever since. That is until I moved across the country to South Carolina while Sarah was still in California. But distance makes the heart grow fonder and Sarah and I have the kind of friendship where when we see each other it’s as if it was yesterday, even though it may have been a year. That is one of the things that I absolutely love about her. So when she first introduced me to Todd I felt that same way with him and every time since. So it was just natural when they came out here to see me and have their engagement session in the sunflowers… and you can tell that in their pictures! I am so honored to be able to be in Sarah’s wedding in California in October and I honestly can’t wait to see how beautiful my best friend is as a bride!!!

Pine Lake Country Club Wedding Photographer | Emily & Kurt | yah Photography /
Emily and Kurt are honestly made for each other. The two of them met in college and it was one of those relationships that was meant to be. She became his biggest cheerleader and he became her rock. The two of them live a couple hours away but made it down for the weekend right after Kurt proposed to get some engagement pictures (see more from that session here) and we were able to schedule her bridal session around my Europe trip and on a weekend she was down here (see her bridal session here). And although Emily and Kurt have been so far away and so busy with finishing school and working, the relationship I was able to create with them worked perfect. I was able to capture them, their vision for the wedding day, and their love story in such a unique and beautiful way it just made their wedding all the more special to me!
