Vy & Tim | Looking Glass Falls and Black Balsam Knob Engagement Session

This session was almost a year in the making! Vy knew she wanted some type of water in her session and we figured the mountains of North Carolina couldn’t have been a better backdrop for us! We started the session at Looking Glass Falls and ended with a windy sunset on top of Black Balsam Knob. These two were troopers in the cold, my hands were frozen after the 20 minutes we spent at the top so I know these two were freezing but would do it all over again for pictures like these!

Paramount Ranch Engagement Session | Keri & Kyle

I am so excited!! My little sister is getting married! We traveled to California for my baby shower and during our journey had time to get to photograph some engagement pictures for her and her fiance Kyle! They chose Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills, California as their location for the shoot! They both love the outdoors and felt the National Park with its Old Western Town used is various Hollywood movies was perfect for the two of them, and I couldn't agree more! The two of them are so cute together and had a fun time getting their pictures taken! I can't wait to be a bridesmaid in her wedding coming up this September! 

Imaging USA 2012 Trip to New Orleans

I just got back from a trip to New Orleans with my friend Amanda! We decided to take a little road trip and attend a photography convention. So we packed up and drove the 11+ hours it took to get there, with only a few side tracks (shopping, eating, getting gas, the norm); and found out self in the heart of Louisiana! Our days were packed with classes taught by other professional photographers, and an expo with every photographic vendor you could think of! And then we of course had to visit the French Quarter, and other areas of interest. Although I am completely exhausted... we had a blast, and learned so much!! Can't wait to see what we can do once we implement all the knowledge we gained!
